Another Great Collection of Obscure 50s Songs by Buffalo Bop.......2004-08-30
Please don't give this CD a "one" rating because you were confused. This is not the group Tattle Tale, but a fantastic collection of 30 obscure teen-themed "tattle tale" songs from the 50's compiled by Buffalo Bop and features such artists as Freddie Montell, Little Joe Allen, Chuck Howard, The Chippendales, Steve Alaimo, The Senders, and many more. So, if you want to write a review, find the right one and give it five stars, don't punish this great compilation.

i will sell copies of this cd.......2006-04-19
hello, if you are like me then you saw this awesome duo back in the 90's. i had the demo tape, which is impossible to get now. it had some of these songs and some even better ones. i got it at a concert in seattle. then i loned it to a friend, who loned it to a friend and so on till it was gone forever. so i tracked down the cd.unfortunetly i had to pay tons.at the time i was looking i was so desparate to hear them that i was willing to pay anything.then i wanted to share this music with my sister , so i made her a copy. then misplaced it. so i loned her the cd. she was listening to it in her car when her ex got in after a horrible day at work, said "what is this melodrama crap" and chucked it out the window of the moving car.he then proceeded to put on some truly awful thrash metal. she pulled over to retrieve it only to find it completely ruined.so i was devastated. then a few months went by we were packing to move and i found the copy i had made. i was so overjoyed.i know this is a long story, but i find it essential to tell you my history with trying to find and keep this cd. i am willing to sell anyone who wants one a cd for 22.00. i hope you dont think me a bad person for this, but i paid a fortune for it and i just want to recoup a little of what i have invested.also i have the bonfire madigan cd i bleed. i will do the same with that one. i dont really want to part with original.it is autographed.so if you have a need for either of these cds, but have not found one email me at momofmiainak@yahoo.com and i will hook ya up.cheers.

Good Luck Getting "I Bleed: a Decade of Song".......2005-01-13
According to Robert Amezcua's review, you can get the CD "I Bleed: A Decade of Song" on the bonfire madigan site at www.bonfiremadigan.com. Well, it appears that you can, but I haven't been able to get a copy. They did take my $15 though. I ordered the CD on December 5th. Around Dec 18th, having not recieved the CD I sent an email to their support address. Then about two days later sent another email since I never heard back. They finally replied, letting me know that the CD's are hand wrapped and they were waiting on covers. Oh, they had also just come back from touring. They said that they would be shipped that Wednesday (Dec 22nd). It is now January 12th and still no CD. I have sent two more emails about 3 days apart and haven't recieved a response from either. It's been a couple of days since I sent the emails.
I really like the music. What I don't like is them not being clear up front that it might take over a month or more to recieve your CD. I also don't like the fact that they charged me $15 before shipping the CD.
So, I guess I'll have to go download the music with BitTorrent if I ever want to hear it. I guess it's not really piracy when you've already paid but not recieved the goods, but it will be once I contest the charge.
Sew True Is Amazing!!!.......2004-12-11
This album is amazing!! I had a copy of this album and unfortunately was destroyed during a bad accident. I've searched everywhere to locate this album and it's been the hardest album to get. I was lucky to see Tattle Tale in my early years when the riot grrrl movent was present, and this band only lived for a short while. Everyone got in tune with this band by the movie "But I'm a Cheerleader". I had spoken to Madigan ex-member of Tattle Tale and asked her why the the movie didn't put out a soundtrack and she said no lable wanted to pick it up. That soundtrack had amazing track for you low-fi minds. I would like to add if your looking for "Glass Vase Cello" go to WWW.bonfiremadigan.com and you can order Madigans catalouge. She has released a collection of her work plus some of Tattle Tale songs. The album is called "I BLEED" it's a very good album if you like Tattle Tale you'll really love this album, and Madigan is such a beautiful soul too. Check her out and Jen Wood the other member of Tattle Tale you can go to Jen Wood Trio on the web and on my understanding she is getting ready to tour soon. She is another amazing soul and her albums are really hard to find as well. Her old lable went out of Business (Tree Records), but if you find her stuff I would advice you to buy it. On her web site she is selling an E.P. which is good also and gotten great reviews. What more can I say about this band the members that everyone raves about.
