About the Artist
Jacknife was formed in December of 1999 in Greenville, Texas. With line up changes and 2 EP's under their belt, Jacknife have graced stages across the United States, making friends and increasing their fan base with their aggressive and highly energetic hardcore-metal live performances. In March of 2003 the band entered the studio to record their second five song EP, entitled "Silenced No More", with D. Braxton Henry of Blood Ties (Counter Intelligence Records). The EP was mastered by Alan Douches (Hatebreed, Sworn Enemy, Shadows Fall, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Beastie Boys, etc.) at West Westside Music in New Jersey. Jacknife has played with national acts such as Mushroomhead, Element 80, The Blamed, Avenged Sevenfold, Still Breathing, Radiation 4, Walls of Jericho, Animosity, ArmsbendBack, Face Down, Darkest Hour and Hopesfall.
