English speaking Swede punk rules.......2003-06-06
I downloaded the original release of this CD and liked every song. This being the case, it was far more than justifyable to spend the money. I figured as long as I'm buying, I may as well get some bonus stuff out of it.
I think this import version was worth the few extra bucks.
The features are:
The original album
Two bonus tracks in MP3 format at 128kbps
Multiple wallpapers in various resolutions
Two screensavers
Four MPG format videos
I would have liked a slightly higher bitrate on the MP3 tracks and a couple of the videos had less than pristine quality in places, but overall I can't hold that against this disc.
The album is a fast paced punk rock fest, with the exception of "Find Yourself Another Girl". This song has a slow pace and a feel that makes me think of the early days of rock. It is the odd track out on this disc, but I still enjoy the song.
The packaging is the cardboard fold out type, of which I am not too fond. The booklet is very basic and consists of little more than the lyrics, which are quite handy considering the pace of the singing in most songs. (The original release has a play time under 30 minutes for 12 tracks)
If you've heard "Hate to Say I Told you so" and liked it, this CD is a safe bet for you. All the songs, save one (see above) have the same rockin' vibe to them. Good stuff. I eagerly await their next release, and hope it lives up to this one.
