People seem to always rave on the Sharks, the Polecats or the Rockats as the band that put out the European neo-rockabilly defining record. Combine that with the fact that most people focus on later Restless records and you have a situation that leaves the early stuff they did getting overlooked by a lot of rockabilly fans, but to me this is "THE" record that defines the neo movement in the UK and Europe. It was not the American rooted strut of the Stray Cats, nor was it the odd Polecats thing (I like the Polecats, but they did tend to sound sorta wimpy often), this was flat out rocking music with a modern edge to it. They took the modern thing too far for my tastes sometimes on later records, but this was just perfect. They were doing rockabilly their way and it did rock!

Now it's nearly 16 years ago I first heard Restless on their "Why don't you just rock"-album. It's still fantastic Neo-Rockabilly. Tough and fast and of an extraordinary musical ability. If this record don't move your feet -you're dead! This record is really a classic. Don't wait -buy it!
