About the Artist
Vicious Circle is an Extreme Metal band hailing from Southern New Jersey . Formed in March of 1989, Vicious Circle began playing the New Jersey , Philadelphia , New York club circuit building a strong following from their powerful live performances. Their 1989 self entitled 5 song demo was sent to countless fanzines, world wide for review. The resulting "BUZZ" led from local area shows to being added to numerous national tour packages in many states throughout the U.S. The band's 1992 "Fist Of God" demo peaked the interest of Indianapolis based independent label, JL America. May of 1993 saw the release of "Cryptic Void", the band's debut full length CD, exclusively distributed through R.E.D. A successful self financed U.S. tour followed in support of the release. Late 1994, Vicious Circle recorded a 5 song demo with a new vocalist in the band. The '94 Demo received great reviews with an amazing response to the new voice in VC. This fueled the band for the intense show schedules that were booked, while writing new material for the demo "Live Long And Suffer", released in 1997. Again, great reviews and intense show schedules followed the "Live Long And Suffer" release through most of 1998. Late 1998 saw the arrival of the new and final vocalist to solidify the lineup. This time, the new vocal style brought to life an unstoppable brilliance to fit the musical style of Vicious Circle perfectly. The responses to the new voice, from the first live performance to present performances have been overwelming and untouchable by those of the past. A new 12 song full length CD has been recorded and was completed in December of 2003. This recording made it's way to Canada 's Neoblast Records and landed a deal for the wordwide release of "The Art Of Agony" in November 2004. Vicious Circle has become a BRUTAL and RELENTLESS entity within their genre and have made a SEVERE impact on the Metal scene over the past 15 years. This is not a band! for the weak
