Being Francoise Hardy fan, I greatly enjoyed Michel Montecrossa's "Time to Change". It is very strange to read that the reviewer jumpy1 did not find sound files, because there are 18 wonderful songs on the CD!!!!
Michel Montecrossa ranks as one of the most artistic interprets of Francoise Hardy songs in Europe. In adition he creates a stunning variety of original songs. Listen for example to his Spirit of Woodstock Festival CD's (available at Amazon.com under the title "Michel: Woodstock Fest") or his magnificent Bob Dylan Sets and many more.
I have also visited many of Michel Montecrossa's concerts which are simply magnificent.

A huge Francoise Hardy fan, I bought this out of curiosity, as I have everything she has recorded. Came across this on Amazon.com, and wondered what this person was up to. Well, whoever wrote the first review is probably in the band. I did buy it, and here's the scoop: I couldn't read it on my older PC -- although it's not that old! They did send me another audio CD however, free of charge. But the recording was poor, the band completely amateur. (I hate to knock people who just don't get it, but I cannot stress the amateur quality enough.) The video included was of minimal interest. Also included were useless GIF files (some of things such as a "back" button) and over 100 photos of the band -- each one in GIF, JPEG, & HTML links! What a waste of space. They didn't even bother to put them together cohesively, or eliminate the bad ones... it was like looking at an unending stream of bad vacation/party photos. Not for the unsuspecting stranger, that's for sure!

I can't think of another recital of tenor arias from the oepras of Richard Strauss, but this one with Canadian forces is magnificent. Heppner was in best voice in 1994 appearing with the Toronto Sym. under its then-conductor Andrew Davis. Neither orchestra nor conductor are first-rate, but it hardly matters. Heppner soars over all challenges, in taxing arias ranging from extremely early Strauss--his first opera, the highly Wagnerian Guntram--to the late Daphne and Die Liebe der Danae.

Much of this music is obscure; most listeners will only recognize the famous Italin tenor's aria form the first act of Rosenkavalier. But Heppner makes it all worthwhile thanks to his unsurpased vocalism. Davis helps the pace by inserting four orchestral selections between the five long arias (the Guntram selection is 12 min., the one from Frau ohne Schatten 11 min.) For anyone who hasn't heard Heppner as the Emperor, this last is a great treat. The recorded sound is a bit too bright but not so much that listening is unpleasant. Overall, this unique album is one to be deeply grateful for.

      I bought Cesar: Worlds of Change for my dad, a long time SANTANA fanatic. I've been listening to Santana since I was born, 1971 and have grown quite fond of his music as well. I think that Santana's and Cesar share the same obstacles, thier choice in singers. Cesar is Santana light if anything, not as edgy, think more acoustic or melodic. I will not deny that he is quite skilled as a player, just that his choice in singers is questionable. If you like American Idol styled, bland, technical, plastic, safe, sterile singing, then you may like this CD. If you want some anema, then look into Santana's earlier stuff with Rollie. It's funny that Cesar is no spring chicken? From the write ups you would think he is a teenager and that this CD is his first effort? If you want background music this CD may be O.K. but it is not Santana and it is not great.

      Often regarded as "the next Carlos Santana," Cesar Marolla could very well be the next Latin sensation. The guitar work is so fiery; you need a large glass of water to wash it down. This album shows how diverse one man can be in within his genre. It will inspire you to dance, love, cry, live life to the fullest and pray for forgiveness. There's even a Christmas song. American Idol fans will appreciate ex-finalist Mario Vasquez`s appearance on "Save The World" and others. Spicy tracks like "Get Up And Dance," make you want to party the night away," while slower songs like "Rumba" are an inspiration to make passionate love, Worlds of Change is essential for those hot summer nights. ¡Muy bueno!

      I bought this cd ,for the same reason most people are now buying the cd. I have to admit, I am totally impressed. The Entire cd is really well done. Ther is a mistake in the liner notes. It states Mario sings tracks 5, 6, and 9. Mario actually sings on tracks Tracks 5 , 7 and 8. Steve Real, an awesome sing, whos voice is somewhat similar to Mario's, does an awesome job.
      Remember, MARIO IS ON TRACKS 5, 7, & 8, NOT 5, 6,and 9. IT may not be obvious to everyone.

      I love Cesar. I got his CD after reading an article about singer Mario Vazquez. I love both of them. The songs are amazing.
