Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars freakin amazing!!.......2007-03-23

bein that this music/movie came from my era, of course im a little biased about teen witch!! but not only that, it was just such a cool movie. the music was always more recited among me and my friends more than any other movie/musical. but now comin out with a MUSICAL... is just pure genious, for those of us "'80's kids" who need our updated teen witch fix!

"Teen Witch the Musical" realy is such a fun and great album. i give major props to all who put it together, and all those amazing kids who sing in it. i just barely got the cd myself, and so have only heard all the songs now. but i cant wait to show it to all my friends who were right there with me watchin teen witch over and over again for "like" the last ten/fifteen years (?! wow has it been that long!) :)

thanks to the cd, i cant wait to see the musical, and finally be able sing all my teen witch faves (outloud) when i go there!

4 out of 5 stars MOVIE WAS HOTTER...BUT MUSICAL IS HOT!.......2007-03-14

The songs were to a slightly different beat; but I have to say that IT'S ABOUT TIME they came out with the music on cd.

5 out of 5 stars OMFG.......2007-03-04

I absolutely love this movie.
I hope i get a chance to see the musical.
Hopefully they come out with the ORIGINAL movie soundtrack but for now this will do. =]

5 out of 5 stars 2 Thumbs Way UP!!.......2007-03-03

The idea to remake this awesome 80's movie into a Musical is sheer genius! I want to be the first person in line when the show comes out! The music in the album is amazing. It's like I'm back in the 80's, only without all the reverb. What more could you ask for? I love it!

5 out of 5 stars Awesome Album !!!.......2007-03-02

I can't believe they finally came out with an amazing album from my favorite movie!! I don't know what that HEEHAW is talking about with 1 star. They do remakes and updates all the time because after 20 years it would be a little tired to come out with the same old 80's recording. It is the soundtrack from the new MUSICAL! The production and vocals are fantatastic! Hello! I highly recomend this album especially "Finest Hour". And the new song "Fool For Love". For us Teen Witch Fans it is a dream come true! I suggest Mr. heehaw go buy the original recording of Jennifer Holiday in "Dream Girls" while the rest of Amercia enjoys the academy award winning performance of Jennifer Hudson. And I am the first one in line for a ticket to "TEEN WITCH THE MUSICAL"

4 out of 5 stars Live at World Cafe.......2006-11-04

Awesome! Gabe's style reminds me of both Paul McCartney and Bruce Hornsby. Easy listening and the music is exceptional.

5 out of 5 stars Gabe Dixon is crazily talented.......2006-04-10

I saw Gabe Dixon in concert and he is phenomenal. He is one of the best piano players I've heard since Billy Joel. Gabe actually played for Paul McCartney in concert, so you know he has to be good. The music is relaxing, easy to listen to and very easy to appreciate.

4 out of 5 stars Dixon didn't disappoint........2006-03-21

I heard the song "All is Well" in the commercials for 'Conviction' on NBC and didn't rest until I found it. The music is very engaging and listening to the whole CD is time well spent. It is live so that detracts - just a little. Has a similar sound to Bruce Hornsby of whom I'm a great fan. Nice little CD.

5 out of 5 stars Gabe Dixon.......2006-03-04

The guy is a super song writer/singer. Hopefully he will record a full length cd in the near future.

What a great deal! This is even better than I expected it to be. It was so nice to finally have some new GDB music to buy. Keep it coming!

5 out of 5 stars Harnoncourt's Bruckner, a viable alternative to Karajan?.......2006-03-19

Even Karajan's detractors, except for the most severe, generally concede that he was supreme in Bruckner. His various performances of the Ninth Sym. with the Berlin Phil. are commanding in their huge scope, yet Karajan was also capable of delicate phrasing and had an intuitive grasp of how to organize these gigantic, sprawling movements. No one has quite reached that magistreial level since. To his credit, Harnoncourt doesn't try to. This is, for him, a straightforward performance that relies on some qualities Karajan's Bruckner doesn't possess.

First of all, Harnoncourt has his own instincts about phrasing and organizing the music. Contrary to a reviewer below, he doesn't exploit extreme rubato or sudden tempo changes. There are some quirky moments where the tempo speeds up unexpectedly, but overall, Harnoncourt's timing of 58 min. is dead center among various recordings (as much as I admire Giulini, his 68 min. traversal drags). Harnoncourt favors brash outbursts from the brass, particularly in the Scherzo, my least favorite movement here. But his main intent is to keep Bruckner simple, to impose himself far less than Karajan did with his ultra-control. This Bruckner Ninth is a bit plain at times, but it always breathes.

As to the recorded sound, I have only heard the regular two-channel CD, which is quite clear; the Vienna Pphil. is placed a bit far back on a wide soundstage. I would have liked to hear the solo winds up closer, but that's a quibble. This Bruckner Ninth satisfied me as much as the great accounts by Walter, Klemperer, Giulini, and Boulez. I sitll feel more thrills from Karajan's analog reading from the Sixties, yet Harnoncourt provides a viable alternative in itnerpretation.

In theory it was an exciting notion to provide a free bonus CD containing Harnoncourt's defense of Bruckner's surviving sketches for a fourth movement, never completed. Could it really be that his ocntemporaries were wrong and that Bruckner left us pages of great music begging to be revived? Harnoncourt's talk is highly persuasive, but when the Vienna Phil. actually plays what survives of the finale, it proves as sorely disappointing as its reputation would lead one to believe.

2 out of 5 stars Depends what you consider good.......2004-06-14

Harnoncourt has done some great things for music in his career, but I would not consider this one of them. He achieves an "authentic" performing style from the Vienna Philharmonic with a thin string sound and little or no vibrato. So anyone expecting that sweet Vienna sound will be disappointed. But his conducting does not meet that goal of authenticity, because he varies tempos too much. It draws attention to itself and weakens the cohesiveness of the work as a whole.
There are other versions, many of which are mentioned by the other reviewers below (Giulini, Karajan, et al.), which communicate this great work more simply and effectively. They are also unique and full of interesting details (some attention to detail is good). In light of them, Harnoncourt's view is radically different. Experience has taught me that subtle differences in interpretation give pleasure with repeated listening. Radical differences are OK in a live performance (which this is), but do not stand the test of time. So I do not recommend this as a first recording to have of Bruckner's 9th.

5 out of 5 stars Terrific performance!.......2004-02-25

The symphony recording is damn good, and the extras are very interesting (to hear Harnoncourt speaking German and English, to hear the sketches of the last movement). In my mind, this ranks among the very best -- with Celibidache on EMI, Giulini on DG, Bernstein on DG, and don't forget the second movement of the Jochum on EMI.

3 out of 5 stars Unconvincing performance; interesting commentary.......2004-01-15

First off, I do not like the performance. Harnoncourt's tempi are erratic, particularly in the adagio (where he speeds up the second theme-group to the point he cheapens it).

Secondly, I found his commentary on the 4th movement "chunks" informative. They could easily have been printed in liner notes; instead, we have each of the chunks played twice, followed first by commentary German, then in English.

Thirdly, I see no reason why he should not have recorded the full movement as completed by someone -- by William Carragan (Chandos: Yoav Talmi, Oslo Philharmonic); by Nicola Samale & Giuseppe Mazzuca (Teldec: Inbal, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orch [with the 5th Symphony]); or by Samale, Mazzuca, and John A Phillips (Camerata: Eichhorn, Linz Bruckner Orch). My first choice is the Carragan: though the Oslo band takes third place among those in these recordings, it is good enough and I find Carragan's completion the most convincing.*

(In January 1984 I went to New York and Carnegie Hall to hear the American Symphony Orchestra perform the premier of the 9th with Carragan's finale. The performance was reviewed the next day in the Times. I immediately wrote Joel Flegel, editor of Fanfare, asking if he knew whether a recording was planned. Joel was dubious and dismissive: "If that college professor really....")

As Carragan noted in his program notes for the ASO "premier," the finale includes the greatest of Bruckner's chorales. That magnificent theme cannot be understood or appreciated by hearing it only in Harnoncourt's chunks. It needs to be heard in context -- and that context can only be provided in a "performing version."

In my opinion, Harnoncourt does a disservice to Bruckner and to listeners by not offering a completed finale. There is certainly room for one in this two-disk set.

* But Carragan will either produce a new version or be superseded as pages not available to him have since been found -- and as still more come to light.

4 out of 5 stars Harnoncourt roars, but Wildner rages.......2004-01-05

As the other reviewers note, this release is essential for anyone interested in this work, for the workshop and documentation of the currently surviving material from the final movement of the symphony. Another important aspect of the release is the use of a new "critical edition" of the initial three movements of Bruckner's 9th, which contains a number of very evident modifications, particularly in orchestration. All the same, it is a concert recording, and, at least in the usual CD format, balances aren't always optimal, trumpets and trombones often too forward, at the expense of the Vienna Phil's strings and (especially) glorious horn section, and timpani are somewhat reticent, especially in the first movement. Harnoncourt also tends to push a bit hard, lacking the natural plasticity in tempo that marks the greatest performances of the first three movements of this work. The impression is one of roaring power, building and receding throughout. Of the 4th movement sketches, Harnoncourt plays exactly what survives, except he omits the 50-odd bars of three coda fragments that have turned up.

Just a few months ago, a recording of the 9th including a reconstruction/completion of the 4th movement, based on the same body of fragments and sketches (including the coda) and prepared by the same editors, was released on Naxos(8.555933-34). The orchestra is the New Philharmonia of Westphalia (Germany) and the conductor is Johannes Wildner. Now, finally, we can hear this work in a form tantalizingly close to the way Bruckner intended. Furthermore, unlike Harnoncourt's Vienna Phil performance, Wildner and his astonishiingly capable Westphalians present what I can only describe as a ferocious performance, with horns and timpani cutting through the fabric of the orchestra at key points, and effectively flexible tempos. It's a performance unlike any I've heard since Furtwangler's furious and terrifying recording made in Berlin during the darkest days of World War II. If you've gotten the Harnoncourt (or even if you haven't), you have to get the Wildner, too.

As an aside, these recordings render superfluous the 1986 Chandos recording by Yoav Talmi and the Oslo Phil of a 4-movement version of Bruckner's 9th. That documented a brave effort by William Carragan to reconstruct a finale. Unfortunately he had barely 3/4 of the body of sketches to work with that we have now, and nothing of the coda at all.

Album Description

The range of inspirations for the stunning collection of songs on The Gabe Dixon Band's Reprise/Warner Bros. debut CD "ON A ROLLING BALL" includes Elton John, The Police, Beethoven, Miles Davis and Stevie Wonder amongst others; but the final results - which Billboard.com has called "real music by real people" - are uniquely their own.

Comparing "ON A ROLLING BALL" to two classic albums (Steely Dan's "Pretzel Logic" and Joni Mitchell's "Court & Spark") JamBase.com wrote: "In an era where most commercial releases are easily digested and then forgotten it's a special treat when a record arrives that rewards repeated spins. (The album) harkens back to a time when artists put a lot of care into each release, crafting something unique with enough depth to withstand enthusiastic scrutiny...There's a cascading loveliness to...the album...like water passing over a stone. Given time and patience it subtly affects what it touches."

Written primarily by the group's lead singer and keyboard player Gabe Dixon, the album was produced by David Kahne (Fishbone, Sublime, Paul McCartney, etc.) with additional production by Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Traffic, etc.).

I saw the Gabe Dixon Band a few months ago opening for Jamie Cullum and thought they put on a great show. This album is pure joy.

5 out of 5 stars From SXSW into my collection.......2005-12-21

I heard these guys at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin a few years back (they are simply amazing live). Bought the album based on the show, and it is now one of my favorites. I highly recommend this album!

5 out of 5 stars The whole album is amazing.......2005-01-29

It had been a long time since I had enjoyed every single track on an album until "On a Rolling Ball" came along. I picked up on a few Gabe Dixon tunes on internet radio and liked it so much I took the chance and ordered the whole album. Two years later it still has a permanent home in my disc changer. You can't go wrong with this album... Whether high school kids, 20-somethings, 30-somethings, or parents of their own 20 or 30-somethings, everyone is a fan.

5 out of 5 stars Pleasant surprise.......2004-04-16

I bought this CD after being wowed by their track on Bonnaroo v.2. I was a little worried that the CD as a whole wouldn't be as good as that one song. Happily, I discovered my worry was unfounded. This CD is simply fantastic. Great songs and great playing make a nice little package. Oh yeah, the vocals are very strong too. I've listened to it back-to-back on several occasions which is something I rarely do. Definite 5 star material. Don't you love it when you buy a CD knowing very little about the artist and it turns out great? Well, this is one of those. Can't wait for the next one.

5 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC CD.......2004-04-16

This CD is wonderful! Its combination of instruments makes for a CD full of good musc. Enjoy!

Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Not bad Not Good.......2007-05-12

With the advent of Myspace music I have bought a lot of cd's of singers that hold a profile. When I came across Gabe Lopez, purported song-writer for a previous American Idol contestant, I thought there would be a strong professional quality about the music that is sometimes lacking in Myspace Users recordings.

The balance of the tracks to the vocals is off in several songs and at times the background music does not match what is being sung.

The artist has the following strengths:

Great music writing skills
Understanding of musical nuances
Sexy Brand

The artist has the following areas in need of improvement:

Vocal quality - especially in tone and dynamic usage
Matching music with lyrics so they flow together
Interval jumps
Mixing of track with vocals so there is a more even sound

I think Gabe Lopez has a lot of potential and if he were picked up by a professional label, he could really make a name for himself. He is already successful just on talent alone. I imagine his fame would grow immensely if talent were coupled with managerial and marketing skills of someone whose talents lie there.

5 out of 5 stars Gabe Lopez Rocks.......2007-01-05

This CD is amazing! This CD gives you more than the standard 10-13 tracks. The songs are a mixture of genre's and they fit well together. This is a Must Have CD in your collection.

5 out of 5 stars Generous and cool.......2006-10-17

The title of this review is simple. It is a generous CD indeed, and that alone would make it cool. The 18th track is roughly 20 minutes long, with extra songs to delight (although their text isn't in the album contents). Gabe Lopez sings songs ranging from grunge to ballads, and his voice traverses such territory far more surely than many other singers. Don't let his classical background scare you off, because that just means he can sing and not scream higher notes. "Everythings' gonna be fine" is so simple and direct that you are almost humming it on first hearing as he is singing it. Each song has its own sound and direction, which eliminates the fatigue some albums cause (same old, same old, over and over). If you want to investigate a new voice and sound (and understand the words, too), try Gabe Lopez. Making this album engaging wasn't about Gabe, it is truly "about you" the listener.

4 out of 5 stars Music With The Dirt Left On.......2006-04-03

"Audrey Auld Mezera describes her style as "music with the dirt left on, closer to being organic, than something that's been manufactured." Audrey Auld Mezera sings the real old fashioned Texas twangin' country sound." 'Texas' is the first release from Audrey Auld Mezera since becoming a U.S. citizen and adopting her married name. She is an Aussie, and with her band mate Bill Chambers, she recorded her third CD in Austin, Texas.

'Texas' is about people, all the people that Audrey Auld Mezera loves, admires and respects. Some of these people she knows well, and some she knows not at all except through their legend. Woody Guthrie, Harlan Howard, Billy Joe Shaver, Karla Faye Tucker, Dead Ringer Band, her father, her husband, and the universal family. Audrey Auld Mezera wrote all the songs except for one, "Karla Faye".

There are eleven tracks on this CD. Some of the CD is a little uneven, however, all the track are enjoyable, listen to the words and the music and the country flavor.

"Love You Like The Earth" is my favorite It is a love song. "I love you like a storm, I love you like the birds flyin' in the Spring, I love you like the clouds floating on the wind" down home and loving.

"Karla Faye" is a song about a woman who killed two people and then became a born again Christian while in prison. She was denied a pardon and was executed.

"My Father" is an ode to Audrey's father, for the love and support he gave her particularly through her teen age years.

"Song for Harlan" Audrey heard that Harlan Howard had died. He was known as the man to know in Austin who helped so many. A little bit of Lucinda Williams in this sound.

"Ball and Chain" a thought of how life can keep you tethered and sung with her band mate Bill Chambers.

"Hole In My Life" supports the thought of death. Audrey saw a sign about a Walk for Aids and how it affects everyone's life.

"Woody" is an ode to a man she did not know personally, but knew Woody Guthrie through his reputation. An homage to a singer/songwriter,

"Missin Mez" thoughts of her husband, whom she met at 18 and married 21 years later. She wrote this song during the 6 weeks before their wedding. "Miss you like outlaws, everything is mine."

"Billy Joe" is a thoughtful piece about Billy Joe Shaver in the year his son, wife and mother died, and how he addressed his loneliness and life.

"Shine" is a traveling song related to the Australian group she toured with, the Dead Ringer band. They were an inspiration.

"One Eye" as much about Audrey as anyone, you need to keep your one eye open in this world.

Audrey says "The one-take tracks include the creaking of the pump organ pedals, the anticipation of skin on steel & wood, the deflated sighs as John Kerry conceded, and the ash softy falling from Gabe's cigarette." The Texas sound versus the Nashville sound, the gravel dirt compared to the city lights. 'Texas' is the CD that brings you back to the earth, to the roots, to the bare bones of music, to the country sound. Gravelly voice and luscious notes that flow into the basic needs of life. Highly Recommended. prisrob April 2, 2006

5 out of 5 stars Audrey Auld Mezera is the real thing. .......2005-05-16

Texas
Audrey Auld Mezera, I've been a fan for a couple of years. I have seen her perform live many times and as much as I love that she is with her lovely hubby in USA, I can only wait to see her back in Oz. I fell in love with TEXAS, the moment I heard it. You can hear the passion in her heart as she sings her music, the first track "Love You Like The Earth" on Texas is just great. What more can I say other than if you love country music this CD and her others are necessary on your list. Audrey is the real thing.

4 out of 5 stars americana/alt country flourishes in red Australian "dirt".......2005-05-11

TEXAS proves that Audrey's "music with the dirt left on" continues to provide fans of americana/alt country everywhere with heart-felt stories in music even though she's transplanted herself to California. The red dirt of Australia/Tasmania has nourished 11 memorable tracks 'grown in America'

5 out of 5 stars My recommendation is to go buy a copy of Texas.......2005-04-27

Audrey Auld Mezera's latest album Texas is currently, by far, the most popular in my CD-stacker. This lovely and talented Australian songbird who now lives in the US has put together a collection of unforgettable tracks on her first US-recorded album, blending graceful acoustic guitar with her honest lyrics and unique voice which automatically sets her apart from the rest. For my money, the highlights on the album are the Mary Gauthier penned and absolutely-hauntingly-beautiful "Karla Faye" (the compelling story of the 15-year-death-row inmate Karla Faye Tucker executed in Texas in 1998), "Hole In My Life" (a beautifully written song with captivating lyrics), "My Father" (an enchanting song to Audrey's father), "Woody" (a beautifully-crafted song about Woody Guthrie), Missin Mez (a charming missing-love song), and the list goes on. Not a bad track on the entire album. Bill Chambers' influence over the music on many of the tracks is reminiscent of my great memories of the Bill & Audrey days, with Bill's unmistakeable magician-like command over the electric, dobro and lap steel guitars adding that wonderful sound I've just enjoyed so much for so many years. This album contains beautiful guitar-work and lyrics that linger-on in my head, long after the listening, reminding me that Audrey is a very special talent. My recommendation to anyone into quality, earthy, pure country music is to go buy a copy. You will not be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars I love it like the Earth.......2005-04-27

I became a big fan of Audrey the day my mail order of her brand new CD "Texas" arrived at my home. I guess I am a sucker for tribute albums, and this one touched me with songs she wrote about the impact of her father, husband, family and some of my musical heroes such as Woody Guthrie, Harlan Howard and The Dead Ringer Band. The first track "Love You Like The Earth" caused me to grab my spouse from the other room and bring her nearby CD player for a romantic dance. I like the way she sums things up: "If I were American, I'd be Texan. In Texas the air is as balmy as a Sydney summer, the people are as friendly as Tasmanians, & like Melbourne, the music community embraces everyone regardless of genre or origin. `Texas' is a child of that embrace." I am really looking forward to an opportunity to see Audrey perform her music live someday.

4 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Compendium of Cantorial Classics.......2004-06-11

This CD contains a wonderful assortment of cantorial classics performed by one of the 20th century's acknowledged masters of the art.

Chazzan Miller infuses each selection with tremendous vocal color and shading reflective of the text, and the symphonic arrangements are marvelously performed by the the orchestras and their directors (they include the Barcelona Symphony, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and the Oxford Philomusica with Eli Jaffe, Jorge Mester, and Marios Papadopoulos conducting).

There are times when Chazzan Miller's voice seems a bit strained at the top of his range; this may be due to age (late 50s or early 60's), or perhaps a reflection of the recording schedule or sequence. Nevertheless, he is always in control and the spiritual quality of his singing more than compensates for the occasional technical flaws. This is chazzanut, not opera, though his vocal ability clearly rivals that of many operatic tenors.

The notes on the composers (cantors themselves) are copious, and bear close reading as they convey a tremendous amount of information about the roots and development of the cantorial "Golden Age" in America. The translations of the selections are also included.

This CD is a must for serious afficionados of the cantorial art, and provides a hearty introduction to this genre for the previously uninitiated. Highly recommended!

      Album Description

As a composer who started out as an orchestral player, Margaret Brouwer (b. 1940) had an advantage that many of her colleagues never experience: absorbing the panoply of sounds around her. Her life as a performer helps to explain the clarity of her writing, as well as her fascination with the distinctive colors of instruments alone and in myriad combinations. Brouwer's music possesses an almost childlike sense of enchantment and fantasy. It is immediately accessible without sounding glib or simple, the result of the composer's painstaking effort to employ sophistication and complexity within an organic unfolding of ideas.

Brouwer set out on her creative odyssey when the severity that had pervaded composition in the post-World War II period was beginning to crumble, at least outside staunch avant-garde circles. Brouwer soaked up every style of music and developed a personal artistic profile that favors illumination over impenetrability. She most admires composers whose music appeals both to heart and mind. In particular, she cites Mozart for beauty and depth; Beethoven, for unity through development of small ideas; Stravinsky, for rhythm and structure; and Crumb, for varied sounds and colors.

The chamber works on this recording—Lament (violin, clarinet, bassoon, percussion), Light (soprano, harpsichord, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, percussion) Under the Summer Tree …, (solo piano), Skyriding (flute, violin, cello, piano), Demeter Prelude (string quartet)—reveal the gamut of Brouwer's art, traveling both in dark and light regions. In many ways, the pieces move in order from the former to the latter, starting in the abyss (though not without buoyant moments) in Lament and ending up on the heights (despite a sojourn to Hell) in Demeter Prelude. The titles of these compositions suggest a composer who relies on programmatic references for her musical ideas. Most of the time, the reverse actually is true. Music comes first; imagery later, as a work's character evolves.

5 out of 5 stars And I don't even listen to Bluegrass, usually!.......2005-01-03

Let me be up front about this: Bluegrass isn't the kind of music I'd normally listen to. Don't get me wrong, I generally have a pretty wide taste in music. (I'm still working on rap & most hip-hop, but I don't think that stuff is written for a small-town, 40-something white guy like me anyway.) I just never had much interest in listening to bluegrass, but when a friend loaned me a copy of Scott's CD, my musical curiosity got the best of me. It's not just a great "swampgrass" CD, it's just plain good music, a must-have for the well-rounded listener's collection.

5 out of 5 stars Astounding, groundbreaking contemporary bluegrass.......2002-10-12

I can't say enough about this CD. It was like an epiphany when I first heard it. I wanted to quit my job, leave my wife and four kids, and just move to Tahiti or the Sudan or somewhere and just listen to this CD constantly. But I knew I'd not live long if I did that, so I came back down to earth and just listen to it as much as I can while still working at my job and dealing with the ball & chain and rugrats. Scott's playing makes Earl Scruggs and Bela Fleck sound like ham-handed visigoths, and his singing makes Vince Gill and Dudley Connell sound like Ernest Tubb and Narvel Felts. It's just a great, great collection of music.

      5 out of 5 stars Florida Grunge-Grass Burns!.......2002-09-04

Scott Anderson is a talented banjoist, mandolinist, guitarist, photographer, singer, song-writer, pharmacist, and after years honing his musical craft with other bands such as Endless Highway he has melded his many musical influences into a singular vision that is artistically VERY satisfying. This album, produced by the amazing Scott Vestal (who also takes a guest solo on "the one"), features Wayne Benson (of Third Tyme Out) on mandolin, Rob Ickes on Dobro, Aubrey Haynie on fiddle - you get the idea.... Best-in-the-business musicians playing hot arrangements of fantastic songs. Scott shares lead singing duties with Gabe Valla and Darren Wainwright, and the original tunes sparkle amongst the carefully chosen covers.

I recommend this album highly and I recommend a live Scott Anderson Band show just as highly.
