This has to be my favourite WE album. Sam has a great voice & the music is poppy, yet keeps things rocking. These guys are as awesome in concert as in your CD player. Get up & dance!

Radioactive is one of my all time favorite CD's. Weekend Excursion is an up and coming band who are most defiantly the next big thing on the music scene. This CD is full of energy and music that speaks to the heart. A must have for any music collection!!!

An Excellent CD.......2000-12-06

As expected, Weekend Excursion has a great album with Radioactive. They are an awesome band with a unique sound and great lyrics. Check out their first two cd's, Weekend Excursion and Five from Six on their website weekendexcursion.com, which in my opinion are a little more down to earth. No matter which of the three cds you listen to though, you'll be listening to some quality music!

I took a chance when i bought this CD, I'd only heard one of the songs, but I'm glad that I did because I can't stop listening to it. They combine great songwriting ability with their incredible musicianship to produce one of the best CDs I've had the pleasure to listen to in a long time. If you don't buy this CD you're missing out on a lot of great music.

This is a phenomenal CD - and they are even better in concert! A friend of mine knows the band from college and since he took me to my first Weekend concert, I've been a big fan. While I have enjoyed all of the band's previous releases, "Take Me Home" takes their work to a new level. Weekend Excursion has a great sound and this CD will not disappoint...Definitely a five star rating.

Undeniably, this record is an accension from the work they did on their previous 3 albums. With more powerful, confident vocals and a more solid rock n roll sound, these guys are ready for the big time. Definitely an album to add to your collection

Ok, I own the first three albums and love them. This album is more of the same, with a few suprises thrown in. "Treat her like a lady" is a great new song for them. Push Me Away, Conscience, Best Friend, and Liberty are also highlights of the album. There really isn't a track to skip over on the entire album. Go pick it up soon so these guys can get a well-deserved record contract with a major label.

A shimmering rock record.......2002-04-01

For any listeners out there that are wondering what happened to the emerging Carolina rock music scene that lately has been disintegrating and withering, look no furthen than the 4 immensely talented Raleigh boys of Weekend Excursion. The production on this CD is as polished as any major label band and the tunes are incredibly catchy. The album opens with a piano laden rocker, and rollicks all the way throughout wih punchy, radio friendly numbers and shimmering ballads. Theory of A Kiss is a definite highlight. Their cover of the Cornelius Brothers is entertaining and well worth a listen. The closer perhaps wraps up the album perfectly. A must buy for any fan in search of a new rock band or the next big thing. 5 Stars for sure.

i love this cd~ the class of 2003 used it for their graduation song "moving on" .. it was a really good song... and the main idea was... Dont only move on, move forward =)

Weekend Excursion is gold.......2001-06-09

Weekend Excursion's 2nd CD, Five from Six, is absolutely amazing. It has "Movin On" as one of the tracks, and that has become one of my all time favorite songs...it evokes very strong feelings in those who hear it, including myself. This cd never gets old and maintains a hold on those priviliged enough to have heard it.

What it deserves is 5 stars.......2003-01-01

So about 9 months ago I got hooked on Weekend Excursion. Since then I've worked for them at concerts on 4 or 5 different occasions. No CD is more sought after at concerts than this one. Their original release, it is a fantastic blend of pop and rock with a violin/fiddle added in for good measure. Their sound is unique and it is no more apparent than in this release. The CD culminates with "What We Deserve" a lyrically rich song that features an incredible violin solo. Seeing as it went out of print 3 months ago, if Amazon can get you a copy, I highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity.

Weekend Excursion is hands down one of the best bands. The way everything harmonizes together on this CD is amazing, especially in "Getting By".

I must say I am never disappointed with a Weekend Excursion song. This includes their older music, like what is on their title album. I cannot rave enough about the unique sound this band provides their listeners. An amazing band on cd as well as live. I can"t get enough!!! Relaxing and mature, an album with an edge, and so much more.
