Charlotte Caffey (Go-Go's) and singer-songwriter Anna Waronker have made this formerly out of print record available through their label Five Foot Two records, in partnership with Oglio, this remastered, deluxe edition includes never before seen photos and 2 bonus tracks 'Pink Piece Of Piece' and most notably Bangle Vicki Peterson's duet on the classic Sonny and Cher song, 'It's The Little Things'. 2002.

Thanks to Five Foot Two for re-issuing this!
Kinda like if John Lennon, Buck Dharma and Dee Dee Ramone were in the Byrds. The songs are so catchy it's creepy. I remember my friends in SF taking me to see them in the mid-80's. From the flyer I thought they were a Poison cover band or something. Well, they rocked! Sure was funny seeing skinheads and squatter punks going crazy over a band that looked like a "16 Magazine" cover. They were also one of the loudest, head-bangingest bands I ever saw, period.
Buy this cd you won't be sorry.
Then get all the others. You'll see. Cheers!

Redd Kross at Their Peak.......2005-03-06

This record is Redd Kross at their artistic peak, where they had finally found their kitsch pop nitch, but hadn't quite fully outgrown their earlier teen punker pose. It is a bit of of the old thing, but more a preview of their glamerous glittery future. The bonus tracks look to be mostly from the "Tater Totz" record, which wasn;t the greatest (they were named the Tater totz for one record for some weird record industry legality problem BS). The preceding album of all covers, Teen Babes from Montesano is freakin' excellent too, and so is their big 90's grunge era breakthru "Phaseshifter." If you like melodic rock n roll music with a heavy dose of all things teenage 70's kitsch, you can't go wrong with this band on any record. I'm a big freakin' fan since about '85. The last time I ever saw them was in a bigtime concert setting, as the very first act before Meat Puppets and Stone Simple Pirates being the unremarkable headliners, and I just dont think the fratboy crowd "got" Redd Kross. A couple years previously I saw them during the early Phaseshifter period at RockCndy in Seattle in an unnannounced free show, in which Kurdt Kobain came out at the end for a couple numbers, and it was freakin' excellent. Redd Kross forever!!!

I Love This Album!.......2004-07-10

I have been waiting for this album to come out for close to ten years!It has such a nice blend of influences and the tunes are great.One of my favorite albums of all time.

I never knew I had been waiting my whole life for an album until I heard Neurotica. From songs that make you want to jump on the bed (Peach Kelli Pop) to songs that force you to sing your awkward teenage heart out (Play My Song), Redd Kross's Neurotica serves it all up, smoking hot, bite size, ready to eat, and with all the "part of your complete breakfast" fortification you can handle. My generation is one that communicates largely via pop culture references, Redd Kross blue printed the dialogue without many of us even knowing it. The additions of boss beauties "Pink Piece of Peace" and "It's The Little Things" (w/ The Bangles' Vicki Peterson) make this re-issue of an almost never-was (thanks to the satin jacket squares at Big Time Records) entirely essential. The vinyl re-issue on Sympathy for the Record Industry contains yet another super stellar bonus cut, "All of the Things." Before you hit "Checkout," pick up Born Innocent and Phaseshifter too. It'll make you happy.

One of the All-Time best Ever.......2002-11-16

This is, simply put, the best record of the Eighties, and it remains one of my all-time favourites. If you know nothing about Redd Kross and want to find out about them, this is a great starting point. BUY THIS RECORD!!!

OK.......2004-02-19

Its an OK album. The band isn't very unique. It seems they have taken sounds from the biggest bands in the last decade or so and constructed songs based on what is/was popular. I hear korn, alice in chains and even megadeth in their music. If you like recycled music with a slice of CHEESE, I recommend this album.

Best of Ozzfest 2002!.......2003-06-05

I first heard these guys on the Ozzfest 2002 sampler. When Ozzfest came around they were the first band of the day and in the top 5 best(along with Ozzy, SOAD, Rob Zombie, and Ill Nino)
Although they are way better(and not to mention a lot heavier) live, this is still a great disk. There aren't really any bad songs here but some standouts are Ride of your life, (I feel)Down, Said She, All my friends crush you, and I like It(one Way)Kelly, the lead singer has a voice reminescent of Layne Staley and the band kind of remind me of Alice in Chains but you would never confuse the two bands. I would definetely reccommend that any metalhead looking for some more straightforward rock pick this one up. You've got to see em live!

Great albums.......2003-03-21

I bought this album after hearing "ride of your life" and I was not disappointed. Almost every song on this cd is excellent and very easy to get in to. I highly recommend people buy this album, you will not regret it

Alice in Chains meets Black Sabbath meets Motley Crue..............2002-09-21

Neurotica's self titled record creates a pretty unique sound but you can positively hear their influences. Starting with some Sabbath and Crue type riffs to the Alice in Chains inspired harmonies. In today's world of sound alike rock and metal bands Neurotica blends enough styles to give us something that for the most part sounds unique. I've known about nEUrOTiCa for about a year, and I absolutely love them! I go to local shows all the time and I have to stand by them and tell the world that they ROCK! They are very unique, and have a very edgy sound. My Favorite song on the Album is I Like It (One Way). I like the song, but the real song that is my favorite is the hidden track afterwards. the Song is called Frightening and I LOVE IT! Kelly and the boys do it again!.......1999-10-25

Kelly Shaefer and his gang of kickass musicians do it again! After putting out a killer debut album produced by none other than AC/DC legend Brian Johnson, they holed back up in the studio and gave us their next offering, "Living In Dog Years", which in my humble opinion, surpasses it's predecessor in 100 different ways! This is an awesome album, make sure and get it!

Um...the only Neurotica that i know of is the guys from Florida. These are not them, but I'd like to buy the cd, just to see if they're good enough for the name. The song titles sound kool, but I guess only time will tell...
