On first listen, this album could be perceived of as kind of a head scratcher, but give it some time and you will appreciate its vast relevance in this crazy modern world. the nice thing about a band like vaz is they're willing to try new things, and they do so on this recording with great results. keep in mind that last reviewer probably works for pitchfork.
