          I would compare this to Portishead but, without the salt and pepper. What I mean is that 27 has a nice beat and a woman singer but, not the spice that Portishead's rhythm section has. It still is a nice album to put on and have a drink to.

          I have owned TAKE IT SLOW since shortly after its February 14, 2000 release. The husband/wife songwriting team of Greg and Donna Wilson have taken the listener on a tour of life through their eyes in this CD. They start out with their account of a young couple trying to assume adult responsibilities before they are ready (the title cut TAKE IT SLOW). Later on we hear a song about someone trying to forget a former love in Over You. The Wilsons also include their emotional tribute to Vietnam Veterans, entitled Duty Called. If you enjoy country music that you can relate to, this CD is for you. I highly recommend it.
