Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Sometimes leftovers are better!.......2004-04-16

A brilliant cd. A gift from the gods! I think this is the most perfect recording I have purchased in many years. Despite the dodgy sound quality on some tracks, I am still willing to give it my highest rating. Jane Sinnott sings like an angel! I hope she moves to the states where she could easily knock 99.999% percent of the female singers on their no-talent bums.

3 out of 5 stars Not Bad.......2000-04-14

I love the first two albums by The Magick Heads: "Before We Go Under" and "Woody". That's why listening to this recording is a bit disappointing. "Transvection" contains underproduced demos and outtakes that don't sound nearly as good as anything on "BWGO" and "Woody". But, compared to the sludge on American radio, it's wonderful.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful variety with divine vocals.......2000-02-07

Transvection has everything you could possibly need in an album there is a real mixture of content here, something for everyone. Jane Sinnott's vocals are a real attraction, this girl could is a star and could put Sarah McLachlan to shame :-)

5 out of 5 stars new zealand meets fairport convention.......1999-12-02

robert scott of the bats has expanded their sound with the addition of a female vocalist. comparisons to sand denny with fairport convention come to mind. this may be one of the best albums of the year.
