Being a Bluetip fan, I was excited to hear Jason Farrell's latest project and may I say it is indeed his greatest. I liked Bluetip a ton but when I heard the stripped down and more puctuated sounds of Retisonic I was overjoyed. This CD freaking kicks ... and the playing and singing is top notch as are his lyrics. Joe Gorelick's drumming is so tight and so perfect for each song its amazing I'd never heard of him before. He is by far the best drummer I've seen in years (saw them in Georgia) and live Joe is soooo much better than even on this brilliant piece of recording. For a duo these two guys did an outstandng job and i for one cannot wait to hear the full length as they now have a bass player named jim(?). BUY THIS CD!!!! SEE THEM LIVE TOO!!!!-hal
