Played the heck out of this CD while doing radio myself. Actually got sick of listening to it: the station I worked for was in receivership (loser owner embezzled monies) and in order to keep the frequency (101.7) we played this CD and only this CD in loop for 4 days...I agree with the previous poster: French Kiss is the best song on this CD. I used to get a lot of calls on it. But after we were back on the air, we lost our listeners: they tired of the limbo state of our station...and Blue Knights..

These tracks do have awfully "tight" arrangements. You can actually dance to many of them. My favorite is #11, "Blue Night", perhaps the smoothest piece of jazz I've ever heard. You can't go to wrong with this jazz cd. I was so impressed with this cd that I bought their two other releases after this one. However, those cd's sound way too similar to this first release. They did not divert their musical style much at all. But out of the three cd's (this one, "Red Nights", and "Tropical Nights"), this one is the best overall.
