Customer Reviews:
Great British Rockers!.......2005-04-15
This band i really awesome. They play music, somewhere in between Lostprophets and Nickelback (let say so, Ok). If you like one of these bands, you definitely like InMe. There are some great songs on this album, I especially like Firefly, Wounds, Energy, but what is really great, none of the songs is bad. So this album is worth getting it. I also heard some new songs from their White Butterfly album, and I can say they are as good as this if not even better. So if you like band, which play lets say hard rock, with couple of easier ballads, you gotta get this one, cause it's just great.
Wholly disappointing.......2005-01-05
Wholly disappointing
I bought this album on the basis of a free CD I got from a music magazine in the UK which had a B-side track of InMe's on - which sounded pretty good, nice heavy guitars, combinations of gravel voice and falsetto melodies making me think there's a great deal of potential in this new band.
On actually listening to the album, all potential was ruined, I was (and still am) massively disappointed.
I don't want to sound pompous, but I think it'd be an interesting show to see along with these glowing reviews also the age of the reviewer. I doubt very much any of these 4 & 5 star accounts come from anyone over 16. If like me you're in your mid to late 20's, you've been through the joy of sitting in your room in the dark listening to Pearl Jam being a mopey teenager and so songs with lyrics like "I could cry, my time has come and I am stupid and forever sad" just evoke a cringing response which is an instant embarrassing turn off.
The album gives the impression it's more of an advert for the bands Boss pedal collection then any mark of thoughtful song writing, I've not analysed it, but I'm sure in some songs there's guitar parts for 5-6 different effects pedals. Instead of giving the effect of having a multi layered interesting track, it just sounds like he's showing off what he had for Christmas "well I've just got Flanger Mk II... may as well use it".
You could replace the title of any track with "Teenage angst" and it'd still make perfect sense. You write from your experiences, granted, although if your experiences constitute being dumped for the 1st time and working in a shoe shop at the weekend I'd rather not hear it.
Loving it!.......2004-07-10
InMe are now one of my all time favoutites. With rockin' hits like "Neptune", and "Firefly", what more do you want?!I found out about InMe from a brittish friend of mine, and I hope they become popular down here! They deserve more fame and regignition.
Love it! Buy it if you liked bands like Yellowcard and Three Days grace, But be prepared for unique vocals and catchy tunes.
Awesome.......2004-05-26
I bougt this album on the back of hearing Firefly and Neptune 2 of the stand out tracks of the album. Since listening to it several thousand times they remain the 2 stand out tracks in terms of catchiness whilst big hitting songs like Mosaic and Crushed Like Fruit make you wanna mosh all day long.
Underdose, Lava Twighlight, Natural and Trenches are not as catchy as Firefly or Neptune nor as heavy as Mosaic or Crushed Like Fruit but still rule with a capital R.
Her Mask (p a) is an absolute gem of a song a lot slower than anything else on this album (apart from Ice Warm - which is bollocks the only low point of album) it is full of emotion and meaning and it has a mature feel to it for such a young band.
Wounds and Energy are the only two songs off the album which I have now not mentioned so I'm going to say that they are still good songs but in my personal opinion lack the strength or character of other songs, however I would still choose to listen to these songs over most other rock bands though.
With one weakness in the album inME are a quite ferocious young band. Classed as a continuation of the grunge movement by many they certainly sound very raw at times and the singer has an obvious debt to Kurt with his voice. This said however they can't be compared to Nirvana (can any band?) as they are to unique. While the singer screams like Kurt at times he has an absolutely incredible voice and along with his song writing skills should stand the band in good stead to take the alternative music scene by storm, certainly the best British band around I would recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of modern rock music.

This an amazing debut album from the upcoming essex metal trio Inme. Songs such as Underdose and Firefly along with the likes of crusehed like fruit and neptune are taken from there singles. These young stars really have a musical talent and are on there way to fame the album has some hard hitting riffs and and has excellent voclas and guitar solos.Simon on the drums provides a hard hitting beat and joe on bass provides an excellent baking to Dave mcphersons kurt kobain like growls..These young kids really have it going and could be on there way to playing alot of big named festivals.
