This 1987 CD is one of the best debuts ever. A stunning, soulful approach to merging old influences and new realities, TTD burst on to the scene with an album that sounds even better today. At the time D'Arby was compared (sometimes by himself) to Stevie, Michael, Smokey, and Marvin. Simply put, without TTD's egomaniacal/lover stance, it's hard to fathom Maxwell, Tony Toni Tone, or any other neo-soul boys. --Amy Linden

Soulfully Rocking.......2007-06-27
Superb collection of music from a terrific singer. I plan on collecting them all.
20 Years Old And Still Great.......2007-03-20
This album is one of those that you let play all the way through. No filler here just pure quality from a guy with great talent. 1987 was a great year for r&b music. Along with this album Prince also had his Sign O the Times album out and Michael Jackson had his Bad album out. Of course people compared Terence to both of those guys but he had a style all his own. This album is one of the greats.
Perfect album........2006-08-17
One of the last great soul albums (with Jackson's Bad) and peak of his career. Good arrangements and beautiful vocal. For me highlights are - If you let me stay, Wishing well, Sign your name and Smokey Robinson's Who's lovin you. For everyone who like 80's soul.
MY FAVORITE TTD.......2006-07-15
I HAVE ALLWAYS LIKED THESE SONGS FROM THIS CD YOU HEAR THEM A LOT IN THE STORE WHEN SHOPPING. AND SO NOW I CAN HEAR THEM AT HOME.
True Poetry.......2006-02-26
I was in Germany when this album first came out and I loved the music. I've been searching for 18 years for this CD and now I have it. Terence Trent D'Arby is truly a poet. If you read his lyrics you can see that this man is an artist.

Do You Love Me Like You Say: The Very Best of Terrence Trent d'Arby.......2007-05-06
I bought this CD for two songs but after listening to it...the whole thing is great!
Best of Sananda Maitreya.......2007-02-23
I've often wondered what happened to Terrence. How could such a talented cat who is still recording to this day have fallen off and disapeared so comlepetely. Well, this album answers those questions once and for all. The four best songs are all from his debut, some of the later ones are o.k, like "Elevators And Hearts" and "Do You Love Me Like You Say?" but the choruses are repeated endlessly and this is the main problem with his post debut material- repetition. If you are really interested in T.T.D, you should either buy his debut or the more expensive import version of his greatest hits which has "The Other Side Of Love" and some of his better later material. He does do a nice version of "A Change Is Gonna Come" and a great live version of "Under My Thumb", but his original material like "Vibrator"is kind of tiresome and wears out it's welcome real quick. He has also changed his name to Sananda Maitreya, not to be confused with Sanjaya Malakar.
Do You Love Me Like you say.......2007-01-10
T Trent d'Arby is a fantastic artist. My only regret is that I attempted to download the mp3 of his newst creation, Vampires & ?. Sorry I don't remember the entire title. I was just disappointed that I could not order it here in the states. I know he relocated out of the states but I still feel we should promote his music, he is one of the greatest musicians of my lifetime.
Memories of the 80's.......2007-01-10
In the 80's when he was at the height of his career I remember how much I enjoyed his music and I wanted to experience it again. It brought back great memories. There was a popular show back then called "21 Jump Street" and his music was featured on the show quite often. It was great listening to his music again. He is a very talented singer and I miss hearing music like that. If you have never experience Terence Trent D'arby, you are missing a wonderful soulful singer.
The music sounds great! Nice collection!.......2006-04-12
Do You Love Me Like You Say: The Very Best Of Terence Trent D'Arby is now available. Terrance Trent D'Arby brought something new and different to the U.S. music scene in late 1987 with his album The Hardline According To Terrance Trent D'Arby. The album would eventually sell twelve million copies. he has a very unique sound. It didn't fall into the R&B category that most black foreign music stars were placed into and he wasn't straight pop. Terrance's unique blend of funk, rock, pop and R&B landed him three back to back U.S. chart hits with "Wishing Well," "Sign Your Name," and "Dance Little Sister." Terrance never matched the success of his debut album in the U.S. but he continued to be a musical success on the international music scene.
Do You Love Me Like You Say: The Very Best Of Terence Trent D'Arby brings together seventeen of Terrance Trent D'Arby's classic hits. It's a real funky CD and it's a satisfying blend of his early work and his later hits. The set also includes several rarities. "Dance Little Sister" T.T.D.'s remix is here as is "Under My Thumb" the unauthorized live bootleg. It's a really great album and if you are a Terrance Trent D'Arby fan you will be pleased with this set. Even though Terrance didn't have lasting music success in the United States he truly was an influence on U.S. music acts. Artists such as De'Angelo and Maxwell appear to be slightly influenced by Terrance Trent D'Arby.

Mature Music.......2005-10-28
If you like artists with mature songwriting and mature vocal and musical arrangements, this is definitely the album to check out. Outside the realm of genre limitation, TTD just makes music, but he doesn't just perform different genres for versatility; For him, it comes completely from the heart. It's easy to see that he has a genuine love for music in general. TTD gets better and better with time. Anyone who's a fan can attest to that. Not a single bad song on the album. This is all well-crafted, precisely thought-out, and well-executed music. FANTASTIC ALBUM!
Impressive..........2005-09-30
Oh my... I honestly did not think this album would be THAT good. I had no idea what type of material was on this album, so I took a gamble based on others reviews and I must say that you guys did not let me down. If the US would give this album a listen, this would be a hot seller... I guess we're not ready for him. I have a lot of favorite tracks, so I won't post my favorites... it's practically the whole album. "Designated Fool" and, "What Shall I Do?" alone, is worth the money... I loved TTD in the 80s, but after hearing this CD, I have a new found respect for him... he is a true talent...not to mention that he arranged and wrote all of his tracks. I'm only in my 20s, but I love to listen to great music... and this is great music. If you're contemplating on buying this album... buy it!! NOW!!
An epic album...songs to cry to.......2005-08-24
Back in the late 80's I remember seeing Terence Trent D'Arby perform on MTV. He was and still is a great writer, performer, musician and artist. His first album "Introducing the Hardline, According to Terence Trent D'Arby" is still one of my favorites. You remember "Wishing Well" don't you? Ahhh, to reminisce.
After experiencing a lot of changes and hangups with the albums that followed, he relocated to Europe and recorded songs under the name of Sananda Maitreya. This was his best move because he found himself creatively. Being such a visionary, he crafts these songs like sculptures, making them so real in your minds that you can seemingly touch the words. He embodies what a music artist should be. Reminds me a lot of Prince, but with fewer albums and minus the hallucinatory fixation with himself.
"Wildcard!" is an album that wraps you up and comforts you in its flow, continuing to snuggle you even after the final song. I found myself connected to the songs "Girl", "Shalom" and "Some Birds Blue". Even so, if there ever was a perfect album, this is it. I find no fault with it, and I am greatly pleased with what Terence has created.
It is definitely an album you can listen to from start to finish, crying or laughing or dancing or cuddling. Doesn't matter, because if you like good music, you'll love it.
SANANDA MAITREYA'S WILDCARD.......2005-07-08
When TTD first released this CD in 2001, it was a German import and listed under D'arby's new name "Sananda Maitreya". Took a while to track it down. Interesting that it is available in the US under his more common name. This is a better copy with additional tracks. This is a killer CD.
Never let nothing stand between heaven and your heart..........2004-12-12
so you NEED to buy this album. NOBODY does harmonies, syncopations, rhythmic transitions, styles, or lyrics like this guy. The most UNIQUE artist on the planet today. Part rock, funk, jazz, inspiration.... just beyond compare. A true GENIUS.
Please excuse me while I go insane....
Oh Davina... perhaps you've seen her... been her... or are her
Just a sampling of some of the MANY truly original and inspired lyrics.
All that said, a few of the tracks I could have done without but when there's 19 cuts on a disc 3 marginal ones ain't too bad.
A feast for the ears!

TTD is the MAN.......2006-05-21
This album is fire. This guy never really got the credit he deserved. Listen to songs like "Penelope Please", "Let her down easy", "Do you love me like you say you do", "Delicate", "She kissed me" , etc and tell me this guy doesn't deserve more credit than he has been given. I wish this album came after his debut album because it would have been a strong follow-up. Go get this album!!.
His second keeper........2005-12-19
"Symphony Or Damn" is an album that kind of fell throught the cracks, but it's easily my favorite of his after the debut. I remember seeing the "She Kissed Me" video, and also remembering how much that song rocked me, and still does. It has a pace similar to "Are You Gonna Go My Way", but it's the better song. Another great track that is literally delicate, is "Delicate". These two songs stand as the loudest and softest moments of the album, but everything else is great as well. "Wet Your Lips" I love, and also "Let Her Down Easy". The portion of track 11 titled "F & J" is Frankie and Johnny, and whether or not it has anything to do with the film of the same name, it complements it well. I would highly suggest getting this if you think you might like it, or you could hope his upcoming "Best Of" included alot of this, and get that.
If ...........2005-04-19
If "Do You Love Me Like You Say You Do" was the only great song on this CD and every other song was a flopping fish on a scorching sun deck in mid-summer's heat, I'd still buy it! That song is such a classic cut that its value would hold up an overall terrible CD...but luckily, TTD doesn't disappoint and delivers a sterling set of musical genius (yet again)! From songs like "She Kissed Me", "Baby Let Me Share My Love", "Delicate", "Wet Your Lips", "Let Her Down Easy" and "I Still Love You." Great, great stuff! 16 terrific songs and no filler! How often can you say that...???
On his 3rd album TTD came roaring back with both cannons blazing...yet the music industry didn't get it! Thank Heaven's I did. As one reviewer said..sometimes it's nice to have an artist that is all your own..one that hasn't comprised the art of music or their talent for fame and fortune!
Whenever pressed to pick a favorite by TTD, I can't do it because each release of his gives me a different kind of release...it's like asking a parent to pick a favorite child..it can't be done! The man is a genius..take a walk on the wild, soulful, rock-edged side with TTD. You need this CD in your collection...I kid you not!
Flawed masterpiece.......2004-11-06
This album is like TTD himself; brilliant artistry, yet inexplicably flawed. It has it all; the vocals, "Do you love me.." the sheer exhilirating relief i've had singing along to this at the top of my voice in my car has yet to be beaten. Yes! its that good.
There's the guitars' possibly influenced by the "grunge" sound of the time- is mixed with funky bass and electronica to produce sounds that are still fresh today nearly 12 years on.
The song craft: "She kissed me", pure suppressed sex. I'd love to hear Pharrell do a cover(not a remix) of this, just so it could get back into the charts.
The not so good stuff, is the pretension. It is something that has dogged his career from the start to this day "Satanda? anyone" (his Buddhist name- The comparisons with Prince are endless. At times the lyrics veer off the track. An artist can be inventive and original without such TTD isms as "in my monasteryo my love ran hot or cold symphony or damn" think Morrissey, someone who makes unusual lyrics work. The simplicity of "She kissed me, she kissed me all over" works better with that funk sound.
The soft tunes: "Delicate" & "Let her down easy" are beauty; simple, pared down lyrics, listening is like receiving aural caresses. Herein is the inexplicable flaw why did such an intelligent artist not restrain his lyrical excesses throughout?
Nonetheless yes, it has its imperfections but I do not use the word masterpiece lightly, listen to it without prejudice.
Arguably TTD's best.......2003-11-15
This album saw a return to commercial success of sorts after the Hardline-hangover of Neither Fish Nor Flesh. The beautiful Desree duet "Delicate", pretty piano piece "Let Her Down Easy" and rocking "She Kissed Me There" were all well received. Corny intro aside he rarely lets up. Vocally Terence is as tight as usual and all songs have some quality while his lyrics are at their most poetic yet. Any TTD admirer should definitely give this LP a listen.

Superstar to Commercial Oblivion.......2003-11-15
Neither Fish Nor Flesh's downfall is it's lack of real commercial singles and a certain jealous Sony labelmate's sabotage if you believe Terence himself. That's not to say the music here is any worse overall than Hardline. The unofficially Stevie Wonder Summer Soft sampling "To Know Someone Deeply", Motown-esque "Billy Don't Fall" and the gospel attack of "I Don't Want To Bring Your God's Down" are some favourites of mine. Don't believe the hype, there was no dramatic artistic post-Hardline disaster.
A heavenly feel, but TTD is reaching for more..........2003-07-29
This is truly a mood album, but what mood is it? This is the main question you'll ask yourself as you play this over and over, which might be T's main goal on this, his unforgettable second album. The delectable "I Have Faith..." will make you a believer in his lyrical ability, and "I Don't Want To Bring your Gods Down" will make you stand up and say amen. His influences truly shine here: James Brown, Sam Cooke, maybe early Michael Jackson and Prince with his syrupy falsetto. Definitely a richly textured if somewhat unevenly sequenced set of sounds from a most unpredictable artist. Still, I got the feeling he was reaching for more, but couldn't put it on the record. It ends too soon, I wanted just one more song. But I'm moody, too. TTD and I share the same birthday, maybe that's his point: keep us wanting more. Children of the Ides do that. If this is his goal, yeah, it worked! Pop it in and press "play." You won't be disappointed.
Progressive grace.......2003-06-19
So, it is 2003 now, and I see several great reviews just popped in. And there comes mine. There are only few moments you doubt the statement of 'brilliant' to be put here. And there are many more exciting ones, to confirm, that man was ahead of his time with his efforts and searches. Thank you for this distinctive pleasure.
You need 3 listens to appreciate the genius.......2003-06-03
The first time you hear this album, it's tough to get your head around, partially because a couple of tracks (most notably "I have faith in these desolate times") are selfconciously Art with a capital "A". However, once you hit "To Know Someone Deeply", the tracks become brilliant one after the other. However, almost all of them don't grab you on the first listen (outside of the straightforward "I'll Be Alright".) A good example is the off-key harmonies in the electric "Attracted to You". However, once you get used to what TTD is doing, on the second & third listens, you're amazed at the range of this guy, from Marvin Gaye-like soul to Prince funk to stuff that is such a hybrid of influences that you can only say that it sounds like Terence Trent D'Arby.
14 years later, this is still one of my top 5 albums of all time. A pure work of genius (even if he did say so himself).
Highly UnderRated Album.......2003-03-13
This album, in my estimation, was one of the best albums to come out during the late 1980's -- and my favorite TTD album. I don't know why the record company didn't push this album -- because it is truly a work of art from start to finish.
It's really sad that American audiences are so enamored with glitz and glam, than with art that has true substance. Definitely a long overlooked gem for any true lover of music.

Probably the perfect album no-one heard.......2006-02-25
I have to admit that I slept on this album back in 1995 for other artists like Michael Jackson's HIStory album and Prince's Gold Experience. Though they both were enjoyable, this WAS the album of 1995. However it was so poorly promoted by Sony that no-one heard it had been released.
This stands up to measurment alongside his best albums (Symphony Or Damn and Wildcard). This album encapsitates you from the start. From the roaring snarl of guitars from the opening title track, to the sweet ballard of the hit 'Holding On To You', to the chicken greased funk of 'Read My Lips (I Dig Your Scene),' to the latin-dance tinged 'We Don't Have That Much Time Together.' From the trip-hop soul bearer 'Surrender' to the reflective 'TTD's Recurring Dream', to the chilling closer 'It's Been Said'. But two of the most impressive tracks 'Supermodel Sandwich' in it's two incarnations, the first a rock/funk track and the second a chill out club funk song. Throughout this album, TTD is on fine form.
For any lover of music, I strongly recommend you buy this- the perfect album that no-one heard.
Winged and soaring to the celestial.......2004-11-24
I see Wynton Marsalis mesmerized, James Brown befuddled, Aretha astounded, Mariah mortified, Beyonce blushing, Eric Clapton clapping, and Pelham Goodard (Peegee) gasping. Ahhh yes! The seven-layer salad of song (jazz-funk-soul-pop-r&b-rock-calypso)...The Magic Johnson of music. My fav...TTD's Recurring Dream. I luv the metaphysical stories, Jimi Hendrix-like wa-wa guitar sound, and that cowbell sounding percussion. Mad props to We don't have...great calypso, Holding on to you, Supermodel Sandwich w/cheese...so, so funky, as well as all the others. It's too bad many slept on this work of art. But many slept on Ray Charles until just recently. Although the album title doesn't indicate what the song or album is about, nevertheless, it is less than flattering. No other complaints though. Definitely an album for the thinking person and introspective. I genuflect out of courtesy and respect.
Top Notch.......2004-08-19
This is one of TTD's (Sananda Maitreya) best albums. Wonderful compositions, especially "Holding On To You" "We Don't Have That Much Time Together" and "Surrender" (which KGSR played for a while). The biggest performance statement made on this CD is Kevin Wyatt's bass; absolutely rock solid, it walks a fine line between too much and just right.
TTD's singing, as usual, is singular and outstanding.
This is the kind of album Lenny Kravitz WISHES he could make.
VIBRATE YOUR SOUL.......2004-05-05
Terence Trent D'arby is an artist of the highest caliber. His albums provide you with everything you can ask for from a musician...top quality musicianship, great melodies/songwriting, and positive lyrics that touch on modern day issues and spiritual themes while providing answers and directing your soul to a higher plane. As a musician and a big music fan, I can honestly tell you that this is one of the best cd's I own and my favorite of all the TTD cd's (with "WildCard -Joker's Edition" and "Symphony or Damn" not too far behind.)
The title track, "Vibrator," really gets you soul vibrating right from the start. Kevin Wyatt's bass line is one of the funkiest I have ever heard and his bass playing is phenomenal throughout the album. The song has a spiritual theme and really connects the listener with TTD's message of positivity. "SuperModel Sandwich" is a funky rock number that really rocks as well with outstanding bass playing once again by Kevin Wyatt.
"Holding On To You" may be the best track on the cd. It's a rousing rock ballad that really showcases TTD's voice. "Undeniably" is a really nice ballad that takes on a really funky/jazzy vibe. "We Don't Have That Much Time Together" has a Latin Flavor to it and a really great melody.
"Supermodel Sandwich/w cheese" is a totally different take on "Supermodel Sandwich"....less of a rock vibe and more of a funky vibe...once again, Kevin Wyatt lays down an unbelievably funky bass line.
Honestly, this is my weak attempt to convey to YOU who is reading this review right now that this cd (along with the "WildCard" and "Symphony or Damn" albums) is absolutely fabulous. It is unbelievable to me how the public has completely slept on TTD's music and talent but I'm very glad that TTD's music has found its way into my life because it definitely "vibrates" with my musical tastes and spiritual inclinations.......To sum it up, this is some damn good music by a really talented musician. Buy it and spread the word.
Sadly Ignored.......2003-11-15
TTD released this from the wilderness and Vibrator was highly slept on. Arguably his finest song yet, the beautiful Holding Onto You, nestles up alongside the probing title track, latin influenced We Don't Have That Much Time Together and the funky Supermodel Sandwich in it's two excellent incarnations. There are no weak songs as such and the highlights alone make this album well worth checking out.

Album Description
2007 two CD collection from the late '80s and early '90s R&B star. In 1987, Terence Trent D'Arby announced his presence on the UK music scene with an eye catching mix of musical talent, great looks and hyperbole of the highest order. D'Arby made Muhammad Ali look like a shrinking violet. He was smart. He knew, like Ali, that if you tell the world something enough times eventually it will believe you. And it did. His debut album, The Hardline According To Terence Trent D'Arby, sold a staggering eight million copies. This collection charts his story through to the mid-'90s. 36 tracks including 'Sign Your Name', 'Wishing Well', 'If You Let Me Stay' and more. Music Club.

The Real Thing!.......2005-04-19
TTD snatched my attention back with his debut, The Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby and he refused to turn me loose! I remain a huge fan of his lyrical and rhythmic genius! This best of CD..does him justice..from funky to soulful to rock to hard-edge, deep rooted funk! It is a crying shame that he isn't embraced like other over paid, less talented artists! Do yourself a favor, buy this CD...the man is worth every penny! Once you get your head around his grooves and words, I guarantee you too will be an addict for the very talented, TTD! And if you can't get the experience at a live show..well this CD gives you a taste of what he's like on stage..though..it isn't the near spiritual experience it would be in person..if you close your eyes..you'll come close enough to brush up against it! He's that vivid..on wax..I kid you not!
Great mixes from the oldskool!.......2004-06-06
I grew up listening to TTD as a child. Songs like SIGN YOUR NAME and WISHING WELL. I got this collection to recapture apart of the past. It's good to have these and many classics on one CD. TTD is a beautiful man, with beautiful talent!
wonderful.......2004-03-31
the man is a genious. as a very bias fan, anything he produces is worth praise. I would put Terence in the same category as Leonard Cohen, a poet who puts his words to song. He moves me in a way few have.
All the hits, and then some........2004-03-23
It may be a costly bloated import, but most of the good stuff is here. I really think a single disc would have been fine, but better to have too much, than not enough I guess. Included are his hits "Sign Your Name", "She Kissed Me", "Vibrator", and the huge and catchy "Wishing Well", among others. Also nice to see "This Side Of Love" and "Delicate". As generous as this is, I wish it had "Let's Go Forward" and "Wet Your Lips", but what can you do. Well, you could save money by just getting his excellent debut, or "Symphony Or Damn", especially used. Any of these should be a good dose of "TTD".
Great Overview.......2003-02-16

Customer Reviews:
TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.......2004-12-16
Let me preface this by saying that I am a total TTD fan (Sananda)and that I wanted so badly to like this cd however, it was a total disappointment.
Every song on here is dull... tired... low energy. What happened to the raw passion... the funk... the voice that when heard, evoked a mixture of Otis Redding and Janis Joplin with a just let it RIP!!! sound.
Sounds like he is holding back on every song and what is up with this band... even when he does try to give you a sampling of what was, the band falls short.
True story... my newphew who his 16 years old (totally into RAP... I don't think he has every heard any of TTD music) was riding with me in my car.. I poped in Vibrator.. Holding on to You to be exact, and my nephew made the statement... "who is that... he sho nuff sound like he is holdin on for dear life!"
That's the TTD (Sananda) that would make you listen... even if you didn't want to!
Don't get me wrong, I don't knock spiritually, evolution, change, etc. however, seems like he has MORPH into the run of the mill POP singer.
Whoa is me!!!! Where did the funk... the stank go. Bring it back please!
A Masterwork.......2004-06-22
It's all come together on this record. Without question an artistic benchmark for Sananda. Simply excellent songwriting that is heartfelt, diverse, and much else besides. One can definitely tell that years of introspection, life, love, and release have gone into this art...and that this time he means it.
The "Hardline" years almost seem like another lifetime ago, as well as the famous boast that it was the "best new record since Sgt. Pepper." Ahh, the confidence of youth. But in my mind, he's finally gotten there with this record. Yes, it's that good.
On a personal note, I saw Sananda in Austin at the (now gone) Liberty Lunch back in 1995, during the Vibrator tour, where for some reason the people let my friend and I in for free because they thought we were part of the band! (Welcome to Austin! they said!)....ahhh please forgive the reminiscance....
I'm delighted and excited with this record, and with Sananda's excellent and open website as well. Pay it a visit! www.sanandamaitreya.com
The twenty first century has gotten off to an excellent start, that's for sure.
UNMISTAKABLE VOICE THAT BLOWS YOU AWAY.......2003-12-10
I was very surprised to find out that Terence Trent D'Arby had
changed his name altogether (to Sananda) and made this all new album. It seemed sort of like a disguise to me, or that Terence was trying to avoid being pigeon-holed by his former career. This is a very novel idea-to come back and show everybody that it is his talent , not his name, that takes him places musically. It also shows incredible confidence in his abilities. To me it seemed far-fetched though, since you can not possibly hear him sing and not immediately know who it is. He's got a classic powerhouse voice that will probably always harken back to his former hits, but on Wildcard, he continues to excell in his art. I was not at all sure what this new cd with so many tracks on it would sound like, and I was so blown away by it after just one listen. It appears that this album has been an incredible effort for the artist to make a truly great cd, and I think he has certainly done it. His style shows through in every track ,and the songs take you places you have never been before. Every track is unique and original to me, and once again his voice just couldn't be more amazing in range and texture and maturity. If you at all liked D'Arby's earlier work, this one will be an unexpected treasure. I hope that more people catch on to this album and it becomes as appreciated as it really deserves. This one should have spawned a number of commercial hits if the music scene weren't so fickle.
Absolute Class!.......2003-10-17
This CD is simply CLASS! From start to finish there is never a dull moment with more melodies & hooks than you have any right to expect from one CD.
TTD has never failed to impress with each comeback. Get this album if you are a lover of music!
Hot Damn!.......2003-07-04
What a great CD! Sananda has got it going on from start to finish. This is the best cd of the year! I've been waiting for an album to really move me. I can't put it down. I've heard an extended tour of the US will be coming up (it's about time). Couldn't make it to the Chicago show. Great Performance of Designated Fool on Jay Leno! Hopefully Sananda will hit Minneapolis next time around...
