About the Artist
Ken Tamplin's four octave vocal range and ability to play a variety of stringed instruments has kept him a hot commodity for many years throughout recording and performing circles. As a recording artist, Tamplin has seventeen records to his credit. Tamplin fronted the band SHOUT throughout the '80s and '90s, obtaining eleven major award nominations along the way. Tamplin has toured the US, Europe and Japan in support of his recent solo material and has also been active in the film and soundtrack industry. Two new records are currently in the works including another solo effort and "Shout Back", the SHOUT reunion album.

These CDs are for lovers of Irish music and of the "old-timey" sound of John McCormack. The songs themselves are lovely, and James Flannery sings them exactly as they need to be sung... in a simple and straightforward manner. The music is evocative of the sound and spirit of a long-ago time. The accompanying book gives interesting background information about Thomas Moore and also about the songs. Good listening for a rainy day or a snowy night with the fire blazing.

    I am a child of 80's metal and if you want some guitar that kicks your teeth in you have got to check out Ken tamplin. His excellent use of rhythm blended with the best guitar crunch you have ever heard, is a must for any metal fan. I have just discovered this awesome talent just to find out he has been around for years. So lets blast some speakers. Just a hint,the full affect of Tamplin's sound isn't fully experienced without ample volume. Enjoy!

    Ken plays and sings like rock n roll was made to sound like! This CD is for you if you like to ROCK! From his days with Shout to his solo stuff Ken Tamplin gives it his all on every song and you can hear it.

    Ken Tamplin is one of my favorite artists. I am glad to see this collection of some of his older material. I can't find someof these albums on CD. If you want to hear his progress as an artist, this is the disk for you.
