Album Description
Since 1997, Boston's Dropkicks have released six albums, each bettering the last in sales. They've amassed hundreds of thousands of fans around the world, and have recently broadened their appeal by having their heart pounding, swaggering performance of "Shipping Up To Boston" prominently featured in the Oscar winning (Best Director, Best Picture) Martin Scorsese film,"The Departed". "The Warriors Code" also features their rousing rendition of "Tessie", the Red Sox's rally anthem, spurring the team to win the 2004 World Series and establishing the band in New England sports history. I had heard the Dropkick Murphys before on some Punk-O-Rama cds, and liked thier music, but I just never bought a cd until the Warrior's Code. This is one of if not THE best cd I have heard in a very long time. From the upbeat riffs of "Your Spirit's Alive" to the somber melody and lyrics of "The Green Fields of France" this cd does not disappoint from start to finish!

I really like this one. Probably my favorite is "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" But there are others such as the tear jerker "The Green Fields of France" Definitely a good CD to use for working out!
A Must Have!.......2007-05-07
I was a little unfamiliar with the Dropkick Murphy's, except for a soundtrack clip from a recent film, and was uncertain with what I would get. Amazons website allows the buyer the ability to listen to clips from each track and I liked what I heard. After I got the CD, liked wasn't the word anymore. Love is the new word and "The Warriors Code" album has become a big favorite of my wife and two children. "Letters Home" hits close to any veteran's heart. In my book "Wicked Sensitive Crew" should be a classic. I highly recommend this album to all you "seriously sensitive dudes!"

I got this cd because of the one song that is on the movie "The Departed." there are a few other good songs on the cd too.

granite solid power metal.......2006-04-30
I went and found this album because I love Rob Rock as a vocalist and have enjoyed everything he has sang on. Didn't know he sang on this until recently. Dude............it rocks. Awesome chunky metal riffs in your face. Great production and of course great vocals. No nu here this is modern heavy power metal. Not super fast but as solid as it gets. If you like Rob's solo stuff or his work on Impelletteri or just superb power metal hunt this down. Why is this hard to find? More talent here then any of the joker bands wearing masks. If it's not available here check out Rad Rockers. (can i say that here?)
A ROCKIN ALBUM BY WARRIOR.......2005-01-11
I did not like ANCIENT FUTURE - thought it was too cheesy and very generic power metal; I would not give it to my daughters or anyone.
But to my surprise, CODE OF LIFE was a real nice comeback - real tight, solid heavy sound, more bottom end, real rockin rhythm. A very good album that allows you to be introduced to WARRIOR.
SHARP POINTED METAL EDGES!!!.......2003-11-26
I have the past Warrior albums, so as one other reviewer wrote, I anticipated that I would not be disappointed and man was that line of thinking correct. This is the best one of the three Warrior offerings and it smokes from beginning to end as well as leaving you wishing it was longer. The band really showed wisdom by having Rob Rock man the vocals, this man does an awesome job. If you like this bands stuff before you best be gettin' while the gettin' is good. If you feel that Firewind and Rob Rocks solo stuff rules then you owe it to your ears to have this platter to feast on too. This is one super duper album, well worth the price and not something to be without...and the lyrics are something your children can learn from...or even your parents if your so inclined to let them borrow it!!!
Less is Better.......2001-10-11
I had never heard Rob Rock before but I do own the previous Warrior discs, so I figured that it would be good. I was not disappointed. Joe Floyd's riffs are as solid as ever and the singing was on target. This record has all of the feel of the traditional warrior sound while being updated for the new century. The album has good, tight sounding metal tunes. The rythym section pounds along while the guitar playing is furious and melodic. Standout cuts are "Day of Reckoning", "Kill the Machine", "Code of Life" and "We are One". If you like traditional metal, you will like this CD.

With Rob Rock behind the mic,Warrior mean business and their new opus hits hard from the introductory track to the end.It is 'old school'only in appearance;a few spins will reveal the brilliant minimalism of this album,as the code by which quality metal is still created.One of the best metal albums of the year!

Wolf Weiss was an awesome musician, a great father, good friend, and a UNITED STATES MARINE. Although he left the Marines in 1999 he rejoined his brother-in-arms as a civilian-military contractor, some would call "A Gunslinger for hire". He was Killed In Action in a firefight defending an Iraq VIP. I knew him, and will always remember him as a true BADASS.

Over the top.......2004-06-22
Even though Wolf is a great guitar player his songs are just to mellow dramatic. He is a great solder and person but his hard life is not what I want to hear about when I'm in my car. He overproduced the album and it has lost it's edge. 911 is great in concept but the lyics are lost in production. Each song is like his Opus. Wolf have fun its Rock-N-Roll for Petes sake!!

THIS ALBUM" CODE OF THE WARRIOR", BY WOLF WEISS IS A WORK OF GENIOUS. THIS MAN IS SO TALENTED I CAN ONLY BE MESMERMISED BY HIS MUSIC. EACH SONG TAKES YOU TO A DIFFERENT DAY IN HIS LIFE,BUT IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE IT IS YOURS. MY FAVORITE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM ARE "POWER TO THE PEOPLE", IT HAS AN AUSOME DRUM TRACK THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO GET UP AND ROCKSHOUT,"POWER TO THE PEOPLE," WITH WOLF. AND I ALSO ENJOY THE BALLADS "NEVER SAY GOODBYE", GREAT LOVE SONG AND "BROTHER", WHICH WILL MELT YOUR HEART EVERY TIME. IT DOES MINE.
