This live CD will make you feel as if you were actually at Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper's Winter Dance Party concert tour of over 40 years ago! It is without a doubt the most authentic tribute album out there. John Mueller is fantastic as Buddy plus you get Ernie Valens(relative of Ritchie)and the Big Bopper's son, J.P. Richardson,jr. They sound more like the actual legends themselves than any other I've heard. It's real rock and roll recorded the old fashioned way,i.e, raw, live and no overdubs. I've had the pleasure of seeing these guys perform live(incredible shows) and this CD is great to play until they're in my area again. My faves are "Everyday" and "La Bamba." I also love the bonus track "Hey, Buddy." I highly recommend!
