Product Description
Composer, producer and keyboards player Pito COSTA began the PI-2 project in 1996. Two years later, with the help of some of the finest musicians in Spain, he recorded his first album, entitled "Retorn". It combines the musicality and conceptuality of Progressive rock with lyrical and symphonic passages. This melodious instrumental music can be placed in the same vein as masters such as CAMEL or GENESIS with a modern sound. Some lively keyboards parts may even recall works by the Swedish band KAIPA. Lluis CASALS' intense guitar riffs mainly express melodies. Lluis RIBALTA's vigorous drumming also provides a lot of power, as some nice clarinet and saxophone parts are also to be heard here. A really nice debut album, to be discovered !
