If you are in tune with the modern 'rez' or wanna be, you should hear this music. It's the sound track to the modern Indian scene, that's the native American reservations if you don't know what the rez is. Keith Sicola is part rock, part pop and all Indian. Hear what a true American native original sounds like!

    Wild Indians/Gary Small Voted "Songwriter of the Year" Native American Music Awards. Wild Indians is a contemporary Native American recording by Gary Small, a Northern Cheyenne Indian and accomplished guitarist and vocalist. The music is a tribute to Small's heritage and also addresses the issues and stereotypes that Native Americans face today. The music is seeped heavily in Small's influences, Bob Marley and Carlos Santana. His band has a stellar percussion section led by former 12 year veteran Santana Drummer, Graham Lear who's work can be heard on numerous Santana recordings from the 70's and 80's.

    You know, there's music and then there's Music. Gary Small will transport you to a place you didn't know existed. His artistry is unlike anything I had ever heard before! I've read his playing can be compared to the beloved Carlos Santana - and man, does he prove it on this CD! His lyrics are honest and heartfelt; his sense of humor comes through loud and clear; and his guitar playing is absolutely soul-moving. The band, as a whole, creates truly a work of art. Don't let this CD pass you by! It will be in my "treasured" collection. Check out his "cool" website as well. Kudos, Gary Small.
