      Zoo Sounds and Destructovision is a steller album jam packed with hits soon to be bigger than Skynyrd's 'Free Bird'. When you visit the state of Utah you know that the people drink from a different cup of tea and the sites will be beautiful, this also applies to the band that branded themselves with the Mormon's home front. Smooth licks and kicks rock each track causing the hip to be homeless masses to drop their jaws in awe and run home crying with joy over this hot debut from Utah! For instance, A noteable number titled 'Jogging Suit' builds like a Miami chase scene involving undercover cops, white suits and kilos of the white pony, it would appear to be an instrumental at first than the smooth vocals come in giving you the warm feeling that everybody got what they wanted in the end. Like all the songs on this album your never really sure what will happen but your always pleased with the outcome. The icing on the cake would be the cello, which graces each song like Cinderella (the band, not the fairy-tail) at the ball. In the end each member brings each track together like a tightly knit sweater made by your grandma, that's right these folks know what their doing. If your still afraid to lay down the green backs for this record, you can use the following figures to help on your projection: American Football, E.L.O., Seam and AC/DC, don't forget to carry the one and factor in the cd-rom movie of a sad robot, no joke.

      The beats on this CD are a bit commercial but still good. 1,2,6,7,10,11 are my favorites. The mixing is very good and the CD moves ahead with a consistent progression. There is a little tribal and some real mellow garage sound synths. A couple of the drum loops get a little old, but nothing is perfect. If you like garage music, then this is a definite buy.
